The Best Kodi Remote 2017/2018.
There’s no doubt that Kodi changed the world of media centers. That’s one of the main reasons it’s still in use today, and it might be the best media center there is to install out there. Kodi offers many advanced features that allow you to manage your media center with ease. One of them is the remote app.
Kodi’s official remote is Kore available on GooglePlay. The features on offer will get the job done but leave it at that. Although the app itself is great, I couldn’t help but feel that there should be more on offer. The good news is that there’s an alternative to Kore and its way too easy to use.
The Best Kodi Remote
After a quick Google search, I stumbled upon Yatse. On first look, the differences between these two remote apps might not be that evident. But when playing media, Yatse comes alive and packs more punch in comparison to Kore and that’s not all.
The UI is everything
The Yatse UI is somewhat superior to Kore’s in that its layout is better and easier to use. While Kore relies on swipe to switch between screens, Yatse allows you to click on options you’d want to expand. How is this beneficial as compared to swiping? Well, swipe is more prone to accidental actions. For instance, swiping on the seek bar may sometimes slide you into another screen. The seek bar on Yatse is also wider, allowing you to make more accurate jumps forward and back. Yatse also has a few extra options including the screen casting option which is missing in Kore.
There are a few more advantages in Yatse’s favor. These include a better information screen for currently playing media as well as important media info. Yatse’s information screen also shows the total number of movies and TV shows in the library.
In conclusion, the only way to see the difference between the two is to try them out so do give both of them a try. You never know which one might appeal better to you. Give it a try and tell us which one you like most in the comments.
